BAS Group held its first quarterly retreat on April 10–11, 2026, and it was exactly what building something serious looks like behind the scenes.
Across two days, our leadership team came together to review group performance, interrogate our strategy, stress-test our thinking, and sharpen the discipline required to execute at the level we’ve set for ourselves.
Sessions ranged from financial and brand reviews with our Group CEO and CFO, to a special guest session with Dr. Akintoye Akindele spanning leadership, mindset, and a deep-dive book review series, to a Moneyball screening and simulation that asked a pointed question: are we building the right team, with the right metrics, for the right outcomes?
And yes, we made candles and planted things. Deliberately. Because what you design with your hands, you remember in your decisions. The work continues.
