With over 25 years of experience in tax advisory, financial planning, and Islamic inheritance solutions, Serena is a Chartered Accountant and certified financial planner specialising in integrated Syariah-compliant strategies for individuals, families, and businesses.

She began her career with PwC Malaysia, working across multinational corporations and government sectors.

Serena is passionate about developing future professionals and empowering clients with ethical, practical, and sustainable wealth and legacy planning.

Welcome aboard, Ramesh Ramiah!

We're thrilled to have you join Arctic Tern Advisory as the Financial Adviser Representative.

Ramesh previously was holding the Capital Market Services Representative License (eCMSRL/C2595/2023) by Securities Commission of Malaysia. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia and holds the recognition of Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Ramesh began dwelling in personal finance since 1996 before pursuing it full time in 2017. He started as a tied insurance agent eventually adding unit trust and estate planning into his services portfolio. In 2017, he was certified as an Associate Estate Planning Practitioner from Estate Planning Practitioners Limited. Being a firm believer in lifelong learning and continuous improvement, he naturally progressed to complete his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) in 2021.

Ramesh is enthusiastic about coaching and helping his clients to improve their financial literacy. He is a strong advocate that all his clients should have a holistic financial plan which allows them to successfully achieve their financial goals and live their desired lifestyle to the fullest.

Ramesh has more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Engineering and QHSE, locally and regionally. Ramesh has held positions with oil and gas, manufacturing and retail companies. He has coached, mentored and trained teams from local and MNC companies in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, UAE and Qatar. Some of his teams have won top awards in Malaysian Quality Control Circle competition and selected to represent the country in International Quality Control Circle competition.

Abdul Majid previously was a Licensed Financial Planner and held his license under (eCMSRL/B9348/2019) with the Securities Commission. He is also an Islamic Financial Planner and has been involved in the financial sector since 2012.

Begin with unit trust and continuing his journey towards becoming a Certified Financial Planner, he is passionate about helping others. He has coached and guided his clients towards achieving their financial goals. He believes financial literacy and financial planning are necessities in life.

Abdul Majid has Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Honours) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and a Master of Science (Electrical & Electronics) from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He is a registered Professional Engineer (Electrical) with the Board of Engineers Malaysia and a Corporate member of The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM).

He is a Certified Professional Trainer and a Certified Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) trainer. He has conducted numerous trainings, seminars, and workshops on technical, management, and financial courses over the years.
