Accidents happen. Sometimes it happens regardless of the measures we put in place. But I've learnt to be more present and more aware of my surroundings and environment so that I can ensure that I don't get into anymore minor accidents 😅.

Sharing my own personal experience of benefits with AIA Vitality, I've been rewarded up to almost RM300 for making the most out of the program with the rewards for exercising and eating healthy.

My relationship with exercise.
This has been an uphill battle that I've been struggling with for a long time. I am so happy to say that I have finally conquered it 🥲.
I hope you will also keep persevering in whatever battles you are fighting for until you have overcome it. Cheering you on 💪

Here are the ways in which you can practice for early detection & prevention:
1. Have a healthy lifestyle
• Eat the necessary nutrients
• Find your favourite form of exercise and incorporate it into your weekly routine
2. Check yourself regularly
• Set aside just 10min once a month to check yourself regularly so that you can notice any subtle differences or changes
3. See a doctor every 3 years (if you are under 40)
• You can see your regular GP/Gynae/Obgyn as they are all trained to do the necessary
4. Do a yearly mammogram (if you are 40 and above)
• Mammogram check-ups can be quite costly. However, it is necessary to ensure that there are no abnormalities as it is the most accurate test available. Doctors can only detect lumps that are 1cm or larger.
• Check your insurance policies to see if you can claim some discounts or free health check-ups. If not, save up for your yearly health check and take advantage of the promotions available by clinics/hospitals every October during Breast Cancer Awareness month.
