We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. This full-time, on-site role involves supporting the finance department in day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and updating financial reports
- Recording, reconciling, and maintaining accurate financial transactions
- Managing ledgers and assisting in the preparation of financial statements
- Ensuring compliance with applicable financial standards and regulations
- Supporting external and internal audit processes
- Assisting with general administrative tasks and providing support to other team members as required
- Collaborating with various departments and contributing to financial analysis to support decision-making
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
- Hands-on experience with accounting software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Part-qualified candidates (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) are also encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within a mid-sized organization
