🥉Bronze at MARKies Awards 2024!

Last night at the MARKies Awards 2024, we won our first metal for Most Creative - B2B Marketing, for our AmBank SME Amplify: Amplifying MSMEs Programme!

This campaign is made extra special as we collaborated with Bank Simpanan Nasional in helping micro SMEs out there via the programme.

Shirley Tan, our Head of RSME and Strategic Partnership Management, along with the AmBank and BSN team, received the award.

AmBank Islamic has granted RM285 million green financing for Econas Resource To Energy Sdn Bhd (ER2E) to develop the Resource Recovery and Disposal Complex (RRDC) and Resource to Energy-Scheduled Waste (R2E-SW) in Pengerang, Johor.

Through this green financing, it will enable ER2E to process and dispose of up to 150,000 tonnes per annum of scheduled waste, addressing the increasing demand for waste treatment and contributing to a cleaner environment.

The financing facilities were signed by Jamzidi Khalid, our MD of Wholesale Banking, AmBank Group and Kasrul Nazrin bin Kasim, Director, ER2E.

Jamie Ling, our Group CEO, and Dato’ Mohd Shafiee bin Mohd Sanip, Executive Chairman, ER2E, witnessed the signing.
