- Filing out corporate tax returns/TIFDs for Malta-registered companies.

💼 Qualifications:
- English language skills. Strong command of the English language and can can speak/write proficiently. Any other language is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Experience in accounting/audit, preferably with international clients.
- Knowledge of accounting theory (full qualification not required but basic knowledge is needed).

This morning was dedicated to further professional development and training at Hili Mark Assurance Services. This time, the focus was on Review Engagements which from 1st January 2026, will form an integral part of the range of Assurance services offered to our client base. A word of thanks goes to Mr. Renzo Farrugia who as always, conducted the session and provided the firm with his invaluable expertise on this area. 📑

On Monday 23rd June Mr. Renzo Farrugia of Compass delivered a half day seminar to our audit staff on "Audit Documentation: Nature, Extent and Timing". Particular reference was made on the use of AI as a tool for collecting audit evidence💻. Special thanks to Mr. Farrugia for his excellent presentation.

Training time at Hili Mark Assurance Services. Mr Ivan Fsadni, an AML expert with several years of experience in the field, delivered a half day seminar to our audit team covering the areas of AML/CFT basic principles, risk assessment and ongoing monitoring for auditors. This event shall be followed by others in the near future relating to various aspects of the audit practice.

Hili Mark Assurance is an audit firm offering audit and tax services to its international portfolio of clients. All audits are carried out in accordance with International Standards on Auditing.

We are looking for a Junior Audit Assistant who will be working full time on site. The person of ineterest must be someone who;

- Has just started or is starting the ACCA course,
- Has studied Accounting at O or A level,
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word,
- Resides in Malta,
- Has a strong command of spoken and written English (additional language is considered an asset),
- Wants to take on a career in Auditing

The job entails:

- Assisting the senior auditors in carrying out audits of international clients.
- Assist in liaising with clients, the Tax Department and the Malta Business Registry.
- Assist in maintaining the firm's clients database updated.

All work will be under the supervision of the senior auditors.

The firm will assist the candidate in their studies by giving extra study leave for every examination sat for. And we are also flexible with the working hours to enable the candidate to attend afternoon classes.

We are looking for an audit/tax assistant who will be working full time on site. The job entails:

Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to our Auditor to complete annual audits within pre-set deadlines.
- Complete audits for assigned projects using in house cloud-based audit software.
- Filling out corporate tax returns/TIFDs for Malta registered companies.

Qualifications
- English language skills. Strong command of the English language and can speak and write it natively/fluently. Any additional language is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Experience in audit, preferably with international clients (minimum 1 year).
- Knowledge of accounting theory (the job does not require fully qualified individuals).
- Knowledge of the Maltese Tax Legislation.
