The best businesses ever are those that target the poor. Grocery shops turn to wholesales from the ghetto. Betting sites have taken this on and skillfully too I must say. They will spam you with winner stories and really push you to play with catchy messages such as this every 5 minutes. JISHINDIE CHAPAA!! Win up to KES 25M Today + BONUS 100 MILLION Grand Bomba Draw + Guaranteed 400k CASH raffle. Send KES 100 PB 292222 AC BOMBA. PLAY NOW!" . How many people will take their ksh100 note and flush it down a toilet? No one right? We'll you probably have or are about to. This sites are so hell bent on you doing that and with a big smile on your face. I have a friend who battled with the idea of placing a bet with lotto and buying food. Mark you he only had 100 shillings which is the minimum amount required to play. He starved that night. All the while convincing himself that for good things to come one has make a sacrifice " fast and pray". He has these points noted down, checked and double checked in his little silly head. He places the bet and is in between happy and hungry but what the hell tomorrow I will be a millionaire. He goes to sleep hungry but hopeful. At night though shivering and battling with hunger pangs he manages to get some sleep. Though some would argue that it's not really sleep. Just a fuse of hallucinations and in and out slumber. In this fantasy state he has it all mapped out. He can see himself win the mega jackpot which I think is 100 mill. In his mind he can picture it all. The glamour and splendor that come with big money. Little does he know that he just trashed his 100 bob for nothing. Finally the draw is up and he takes out his bid numbers. Glued on the screen he waits for that magic number. One after the other none of them match. In fact they are worlds apart from his you'd think the numbers he got were for a different purpose all together. Frustrations begin to set in but he is still hopeful. Their are still some minor draws and he might g

To clarify on our post from eariler:
Beginning two weeks ago, most of our users in Venezuela had their connection speeds throttled by the country's primary Internet provider. This caused the application to crash for all users. Our Venezuelan reviewers are a critical part of the Humanatic team, so we're working fast to create new options for bringing these users back into the application. For now, we have to limit site access to people with a qualifying connection. We hope to have alternative options available within a few days. Thank you
For me, poetry is a physical reality—a gift—like water or the stars, something to cherish, study, reach for. Thank you for all you do to support Poetry from Kenya , which welcomes so many into the gift of poetry.
Your support is an act of engagement—from the interior life, reaching toward each other—supporting our nation’s poetry library and inviting myriad visitors to read and write in a space that welcomes them; facilitating free poems for nearly 10,000 youngsters; and co-creating our online and regional services that reach millions.
Love lost (The Challenge)
You may be gone but we’re never apart
In my heart you will never depart
This part, me and you apart is a play I don’t want to be a part of
Something is missing; something about this feels really off
Just last night
We were tight
Talking how things were perfect, how they were just right
Tonight it was all right, how then did we get to this fight?
Away In the horizon my memories fade
Perhaps there is another way my dear beautiful Jade
That we can amend the wrongs
And be together right here my love is where you belong
I'll keep traveling till my heart finds peace
but even when it does i'll keep moving
Because there's so much to see
ground beneath bare feet.
I love the dark-lit loneliness
my greatest teacher peacefulness.
the wolf i bear the forest with.
the ever present kiss of mindfulness
compassion wets my every step.
well the puddle shimmer and reflect.
and i hold my shield up must protect
well a suffered heart suffered neglect
