‘Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and bless His Name.’
(Psalm 100:4).
Each day is another opportunity to start again on the right foot. Every new day gives you a fresh chance to begin well and make better choices.
It is also a new opportunity to move forward in the right direction. No matter what happened yesterday, today is a new opportunity to begin again.
PRAYER:
Lord, today I choose to begin with thanksgiving and praise. Thank You for new mercies and fresh opportunities. Help me to move forward in the right direction and to honour You in all that I do.
In the Name of Jesus.
Amen.

Delayed gratification and an investment will put you ahead.
Many people spend today's money on today's desires. Wealth builders sacrifice short-term comfort to acquire assets, skills, and investments that create long-term rewards.
When you learn to wait, invest, and own, money gradually starts working for you instead of you working only for money.
The formula is simple: 📌 Earn → Save → Invest → Own → Grow.
The bigger the gap between what you earn and what you spend, the faster your journey toward financial freedom.
'Ezra left Babylon on the first day of the first month, and arrived in Jerusalem on the first day of the fifth month. With God’s blessing his trip went well.
Ezra had always given his time and attention to studying and obeying the law of the Lord. He also loved to teach its rules and commandments to others in Israel.'
(Ezra 7:9-10).

Tracking Progress
"Ezra left Babylon on the first day of the first month, and arrived in Jerusalem on the first day of the fifth month. With God's blessing his trip went well ..."
(Ezra 7:9).
June is finally here, and with it, an opportunity to review your progress mid-year.
In January, you said that in 2026, I will achieve ............. Now, we are halfway through.
1. Did you set clear and workable daily, weekly, monthly and yearly goals?
2. How is your progress? Achieved? Lagging? abandoned? Momentum maintained? WHY?
Tracking progress shows your commitment, gaps and what you must do to keep your eyes on the goal post.
3. What must you do in the remaining half to ensure that your milestones for 2026 are locked in?
4. Are you saving and investing more than you are spending?
Are you living within your budget or are you still competing with friends, family, neighbours, & colleagues?
5. Do you have/need an accountability partner to keep you on track? This is especially important to ensure you stay disciplined and committed.
See you at the very top!

Life Lessons
Life doesn’t give you what you want, it gives you what you fight for.
In the African wilderness, nothing is promised, nothing is guaranteed, and nothing is wasted. The hyena, often mocked as a scavenger, carries home a prize most animals would scoff at. A single buffalo leg.
To the lion, it may seem scraps. To the leopard, it may appear beneath their dignity, but to the hyena, it is victory, survival, and a reminder that life gives not the banquet we dream of, but the portion we fight for and deserve.
The hyena does not complain about not getting the whole buffalo. It does not sulk in the shadows, envying the lion’s feast. Instead, it sinks its teeth into what it has earned.
One leg may not look like much, but for the hyena, it is nourishment, it is triumph, it is proof that persistence always pays.
Life is like this: we often sit and dream of golden thrones, lavish tables, and endless riches. But dreams alone feed no one.
What matters is what you chase, what you endure, and what you’re willing to carry home. Just as the hyena’s reputation has never stopped it from surviving, your critics cannot stop you from thriving.
Life will never hand you the whole buffalo simply because you want it; it will only reward your grit, your resilience, and your effort. In the end, the hyena limps home with more than just meat, it carries the lesson that survival belongs not to the strongest or the most glamorous, but to the most relentless.
Moral:
Life doesn’t owe you anything. You don’t get what you wish for; you get what you work for, fight, and deserve.

AMBITION WITHOUT WISDOM AND STRATEGY IS DANGEROUS.
One of the biggest mistakes entrepreneurs make is confusing ambition with wisdom.
Yes, dream big. Yes, think beyond your current circumstances. Yes, pursue growth aggressively, but remember this: not every risk is worth taking. Some risks are calculated. Others are reckless.
A calculated risk is backed by research, planning, market understanding, and a clear strategy. A reckless risk is driven by excitement, ego, pressure, or the desire to appear successful.
Many businesses have collapsed not because their owners lacked ambition, but because they pursued growth without thinking through the consequences.
You don't need to invest in every opportunity. You don't need to borrow money for every idea. You don't need to expand every time revenue increases.
Good business is not about taking the biggest risks. It's about taking the right risks. Ambition can take you far, but wisdom will keep you there. Grow boldly, but grow wisely.
