Good morning East Africa. We are in a very trying phase in the continent. I have had career transition training and coaching sessions with people spread across Africa over the last three weeks since USAID was shut down. The impact of this closure is huge on jobs and by extension on the families supported by former NGO and CBO employees who worked in and with programs funded by USAID. In Kenya alone close to 11,000 are affected directly. People in this kind situation need very strong social support to cope quickly. Give them a hand. They need it.
