PAN Application Rules Changing From 1st April 2026.

From February 2026, the GST portal will auto-fill the "Tax Liability Breakup" in GSTR-3B based on data from GSTR-1/IFF for earlier period invoices. To file GSTR-3B, follow these steps:
- Offset tax
- Open the "Tax Liability Breakup" tab
- Click "SAVE" (edit if needed)
- File GSTR-3B using EVC or DSC

Currently, the portal asks for confirmation even when there's no previous period liability, but GSTN is working to fix this. For now, just open the tab and click "SAVE" before filing GSTR-3B.
