RBI’s Monetary Policy Committee announces RepoRate cut for the first time in 5 years. Repo Rate cut by 25 bps to 6.25%.
Anyone having home loans, now banks will cut the rate on home loan.
But banks will reduce EMI and keep loan tenure same.
But we should insist on keeping EMI same and reduce the Tenure so that the loan gets paid faster and we pay less interest on overall loan.
