RBI raised Repo Rate by 50 basis point at 5.4%.Borrowing getting costlier

RBI has maintained repo(4%) and reverse repo rates (3.35%) along with an accommodative monetary policy to support growth in an uncertain environment of rising inflation and crude prices, geo-political tensions and resurgence of Covid in China. Taking a cautious stance, RBI cuts its GDP projection for FY23 from 7.8% to 7.2% and hiked inflation from 4.5% to 5.7%

RBI kept repo rate(4%)and reverse repo rate(3.35%) UNCHANGED
