CBDT further extends due date for filing of IT Returns & audit reports from 15th Oct,2018 to 31st Oct, 2018 for all assessees liable to file ITRs for AY 2018-19 by 30.09.2018,after considering representations from stakeholders. Liability to pay interest u/s 234A of IT Act will remain.

Please Be Aware about the GST rate cut (from 12 /18% to 5% )on Restaurants applicable wef 15th November 2017.

A. All stand-alone restaurants, whether air conditioned or not, will attract GST @5% without ITC. Food parcels (or takeaways) will also attract 5% GST without ITC.

B. Restaurants in hotel premises having room tariff of less than Rs. 7500/- per unit per day will attract GST of 5% without ITC.

C. Restaurants in hotel premises having room tariff of Rs. 7500/- and above per unit per day (even for a single room) will attract GST of 18% with full ITC.

D. Outdoor catering will continue to be at 18% with full ITC.

Gold Holding limit News which is in circulation in news/social media since yesterday is wrong and incorrect.

Few clarifications in this regards -
1) Govt has not fixed any limit
2) Gold or any other asset acquired out of white money / legal money will not face consequences.
3) Person can hold as much as gold with legal money/white money e.g 5000 kg as well
4) The limit specified in news about 500gms / 250gms / 100 gms is specified by government on year 1994 for search & seizure case . It is standard guideline to be followed while search & seizure ( commonly callas as raid ) case.

5) there is no change in said procedure since last 22 years

Therefore request to all ignore such news.
