CBIC vide Notification no. 17/2022-Central Tax dated 1 August 2022 has notified that E-invoicing will be applicable for registered taxpayers whose aggregate turnover exceeds INR 10 crores in any preceding FY from 2017-18 to 2021-22 with effect from 1 October 2022.

Can Revision in GST refund formulae be beneficial for “IDS” supplies?

Dear All,

Do you know you can claim an increased amount of GST refund of ITC accumulated on account of Inverted Duty Structure ("IDS") and that too with retrospective effect?

Cretum Advisory has interpreted that with the revision in formulae for GST refund calculation on account of IDS, a taxpayer is eligible to claim the increased GST refund for the past tax periods as well.
