– July 31, 2025: Pay self‑assessment tax to avoid interest
– September 15, 2025: Last date to file ITR (no penalty)

– ₹1,000 max if income ≤ ₹5 lakh
– ₹5,000 if income above ₹5 lakh

Plus 1% per month interest on unpaid tax
