To finish off a golfing week, today had the chance to play Hillside again. Was quite good to see The Open set up from next door! Great round though and great company. Thanks to for the invite. Also, so good to see the wildlife and in particular Mr Fox! ⛳️

Great to host a few old Puma colleagues and some new of my fellow members for a round today. Great weather for it too which made it even better. Thanks to those that played and made it an enjoyable day ⛳️

Tonight marked the start of the . Almost 6 weeks of football, a total of 37 days! I remember my first World Cup, Espana 82. We actually went to Spain on holiday that year. Then Mexico 86 was my first tournament I watched on TV. So many memories of that tournament and Maradonna breaking England fans hearts. However, my main World Cup was Italia 90. This is when football had my glued to the TV. my spurs hero banging goals in. bossing the midfield and the legend, Sir Bobby.

So as another season draws to a close, the last big game before the kicks off is the Final between and . What’s everyone’s thoughts on who you want to win or who will win?

Yesterday I had the privilege of visiting the HQ, presenting to the staff and it was great to see so many familiar faces.

It was a financial welllbeing session that was delivered to give insights into financial advice and give the staff understanding around a lot of employee benefits they receive, especially around work place pensions.

There was also time for the rest of the day for any members of staff to have a 121 to gain some information around any personal or work related situations that they also needed help with.

What’s evident is that this practice doesn’t take place enough. Myself, as an ex employee, rarely got access via any previous employment to a financial adviser, in order to help explain about my pension, how it works and what it’s doing but mainly, ‘am I on track for retirement?’
