Over the last month, clients have been feeding back on how we’ve done in the last year and we’d just like to first take the time to thank every one of you that managed to find the time to complete our survey.
The results have proven we haven’t done a bad job, in fact 85% of you rated our annual review service highly and 96% would recommend the investment advice given from Clear. What might be more reassuring is that 75% of you responded that despite the global pandemic the amount you will be investing will likely stay the same in 2021. The survey also found that clients were happy with the timeliness of our advice and were also happy with our bi-monthly investment update.

Invest for your child's future, free from UK Tax
The JISA allowance increased to £9,000 from £4,368 in 2020-21. By investing into a junior ISA, you can give your child a head start in life. This might be to help them to go to university, have the saving to put a deposit on their first home, or follow a venture they’ve always dreamed of.

Like ever Clear Financial Advice wants to ensure you, we've got your back. After the recent announcements over new government regulations, Financial Planning will continue to be a topic on many peoples agenda.
The pandemic has caused people to get a deeper focus on their finances in 2020 like never before. Now the new year has dawned, perhaps you are resolving to keep up that focus in a new and more positive way. But if you haven’t yet outlined specific financial resolutions or you are looking to refine them, then it’s never too late, here are some tips and inspiration that might help you to have a better financial outlook this year despite the regulations.
· If you’re eager to hear some fresh ideas, financial podcasts can provide what we in the industry call “fin-spiration”. Throughout the lockdown the number of people listening to podcasts has jumped (unsurprisingly).
· Understanding your debt: 2021 could be the year any debts are cleared. Whether it’s a student loan, credit card or an auto loan, we often don’t take enough time to consider these debts.
If you would like to discuss any of your new years resolutions, get in contact with one of our advisers today.

The Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee has voted unanimously to maintain Bank Rate at 0.1%.
Committee members predict that the Covid-19 vaccine will help to reduce downside risks to the economy.
What is Bank Rate?
Here is the Bank of England's explanation:
Bank Rate is the single most important interest rate in the UK. In the news, it's sometimes called the ‘Bank of England base rate’ or even just ‘the interest rate’.
Our Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) sets Bank Rate. It's part of the Monetary Policy action we take to meet the target that the Government sets us to keep inflation low and stable.
Bank Rate determines the interest rate we pay to commercial banks that hold money with us. It influences the rates those banks charge people to borrow money or pay on their savings.
