We had the pleasure of attending an outstanding event hosted by Flair Financials bringing together voices from across the sporting world to tackle an incredibly important topic. How we better educate and support young footballers off the pitch.

This is something both Jamie and I are passionate about, so it was inspiring to see the real progress being made in this space.

Celebrating one full year of Hollis Financial Planning!

Recently, I travelled to our Manchester location to assist a young footballer in protecting their life after football. We have been dedicated to working with athletes and other short-term careerists over the past two years, ensuring that when the inevitable happens, we have a solid foundation in place to support them in the next phase of their lives.

I’m delighted to announce that Gary McLennan has joined Hollis Financial Planning as our new Practice Manager!

Gary brings a wealth of experience to the team, with a strong background in the public sector and customer-facing roles across Scotland. He has previously worked with NHS Ayrshire & Arran, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, North Ayrshire Council and Hall’s of Scotland where he honed his skills in exceptional customer service, client relationship management, sales, and tailoring solutions to meet the unique needs of individuals, patients, and customers.

In his role as our main point of contact here at Hollis Financial Planning, Gary is the friendly and dedicated professional you’ll speak with first.
He’s always ready to go the extra mile to ensure our clients receive the support and guidance they need.

Outside of work, Gary is a passionate lifelong guitarist and singer, having performed in various bands over the years. When he’s not making music you’ll likely find him out on his motorcycle or training/practising Mixed Martial Arts (and even coaching others!).

Above all, though, as a devoted family man, nothing brings him greater joy than spending quality time with his wife and young son.
