UK Budget Summary Key Points

📈 Income Tax & NI thresholds frozen until 2030/31, more people will move into higher tax bands.
💷 Salary sacrifice pension contributions capped from April 2029 (only first £2,000 exempt from NI).
💰 Cash ISA allowance cut to £12,000 from April 2027 (under 65s).
📈 Dividend, savings & property income tax rates up by 2%.
🏤 New ‘mansion tax’ on homes over £2 million.
💷 National Living Wage rises continue.
✅ Government-funded apprenticeships for under 25s in SMEs.
🚗 Electric car drivers will be subject to a 3p charge for every mile they drive.

🔔 Important Update for All Company Directors & PSCs

Companies House has now introduced a new mandatory digital ID verification system for directors and Persons with Significant Control.
This change is already live, and completing the verification is now a key part of staying compliant.

Why this matters

To continue submitting confirmation statements and maintaining an active, compliant company, every director/PSC will need to complete a one-time identity check.
This reform aims to improve accuracy on the register and increase trust in UK businesses.

Key points to be aware of:-

🆔 Every director and PSC must verify their ID once
🔐 unique personal code will be issued for future filings
❌ Without verification, filings may be blocked or delayed, and penalties could follow
✅ Verification can be done via Gov One Login or through an Authorised ACSP (us)
