Fun fact: my mom and all my siblings were born in Ireland…and somehow I ended up being the one born in Winnipeg...
Still claim my Irish roots though 🍀
May your day be touched with a bit of Irish luck and a whole lot of happiness.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

We turned ONE today 🥂
One year since I officially launched this little bookkeeping business on Instagram, and honestly… I’m still a bit in awe.
This past year came with learning, growing, second-guessing, and wins I don’t take for granted.
I’m incredibly grateful for the clients who trusted me early on and continue to support this business.
Proof that starting before you feel “ready” really can work 🤍
Excited for what year two brings!

And just like that… another year wrapped up ✨
So thankful for the clients and connections that made this year what it was, and excited for what’s ahead. Wishing everyone a happy, healthy New Year 🥂

The most wonderful part of my first year in business?
My clients.
Thank you for trusting me with your books, your businesses, and everything in between. This year turned into something better than I could’ve imagined because of the people I get to work with every day.
So grateful for the trust, the collaboration, and the really great humans behind the numbers 🤍

Be honest. Are you on your bookkeeper’s naughty or nice list this year?
If your books are a little behind or things feel messy, you’re definitely not alone. There’s still time to clean things up and head into the new year feeling organized and confident 🎄😉

Not sure what these terms mean? You’re definitely not alone. Bookkeeping doesn’t have to feel confusing or overwhelming. If you want someone in your corner who explains things clearly and keeps your books stress free, I’m here for you. Let’s chat! 🤎

Holiday decor at the office… write-off or just for the cheer? 🎄
Short answer: yes, you can usually claim it as an office expense, as long as it’s actually for your workspace and not your living room mantle. Think: tree for the reception area, a few festive touches for client meetings, wrapping supplies for team gifts, all fair game.
Just keep it reasonable and keep your receipts. ’Tis the season, but CRA still wants documentation 😉
