Getting sick is stressful enough — your finances don’t need to add to it. 🤍
Critical Illness Insurance can give you a lump-sum payment to use however you need while you focus on getting better.
And with some policies, a Return of Premium rider may even give you money back if you never need to make a claim.*

📚 RESP Matching Explained: How the Government Grants Help You Save
One of the biggest advantages of opening a Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) is that the Government of Canada helps you save through the Canada Education Savings Grant (CESG).
Here's how it works:
💰 For every $100 you contribute to your child's RESP, the government can add $20.
That means:
✔️ Contribute $500 → Receive $100 from the government
✔️ Contribute $1,000 → Receive $200 from the government
✔️ Contribute $2,500 in a year → Receive the maximum standard annual CESG of $500
Your contributions and the government grant are invested together, giving your child's education savings more opportunity to grow over time.
Did you know?
The basic CESG is available to most Canadian children who qualify.
Some lower- and modest-income families may qualify for additional CESG, increasing the government contribution.
If you've missed contributing in previous years, you may be able to catch up on unused CESG, subject to annual grant limits.
Whether your child dreams of attending university, college, or a skilled trades program, an RESP can help make those goals more affordable.
Not sure if you're maximizing the government grants available to your family?
📩 Reach out today—I'd be happy to review your RESP strategy and help you make the most of the savings opportunities available.

🌱 The Biggest Advantage in Investing Isn't Finding the Perfect Investment… It's Time.
One of the most valuable assets you have when it comes to building wealth isn't luck—it's time.
Whether you're saving for retirement, your first home, your child's education, or simply your future, starting early allows your money more time to grow.
Even small, consistent contributions can make a meaningful difference over the long term.
This is why I often encourage clients to start before they think they're "ready." You don't need to have everything figured out—you just need a plan.
No matter where you are on your financial journey, it's never too early—or too late—to take the next step.

Segregated funds can help combine long-term growth potential with estate protection features that many Canadians don’t even realize exist.
From locking in gains with resets to helping beneficiaries avoid probate delays, these strategies can play a powerful role in retirement and estate planning.

I talk to a lot of parents who have an RESP…
but aren’t actually maximizing it.
They’re contributing — but missing grants, timing, and growth.
The Registered Education Savings Plan isn’t just a savings account — it’s one of the best structured wealth tools for families in Canada when used right.
Small adjustments now = thousands more for your child later.
