Welcome to June - which means we are officially halfway through 2026. ποΈ
This is the moment most business owners either course-correct or keep coasting.
Ask yourself three honest questions right now:
β
Do I know exactly how much my business made JanuaryβMay?
β
Are my expenses tracked and categorized?
β
Am I ahead of, behind, or on pace with my financial goals for this year?
If you answered "I'm not sure" to any of those - that's not a personal failing. That's a sign your books need attention before the second half of the year runs away from you too.
June is the perfect time to reset. Not January. Not December. Now while you still have 6 months to make it count.
Which question made you pause the most? Drop it below π
π© DM me "JUNE" and let's talk about getting your books mid-year-ready before June gets busy.
β¨ DAY 17 β¨
After another unexpected computer hiccup today, I'm ending the day with one of life's simple pleasures... freshly laundered sheets and an early bedtime. ποΈβ¨
Tell me what's your favorite trick for keeping that fresh laundry scent lasting longer between washes? I'd love to hear your tips! π
β¨ DAY 16 β¨
Today's video is up! π₯
After a lot of travel, work, and a few health concerns, I took a much-needed easy day. Feeling a little better and looking forward to getting some answers at my doctor's appointment next week.
Also sharing a little fun fact about me!!
See you tomorrow for Day 17! π«

The next quarter is almost here.
Before it starts, ask yourself honestly:
β Are my current books actually up to date?
β Do I know what I made and spent this past quarter?
β Have I reviewed my profit margins recently?
β Do I have a clear picture of my cash position?
β Am I set up to hit my financial goals for the rest of the year?
If you answered "no" or "I'm not sure" to most of those - this is your sign.
Businesses that grow quarter over quarter aren't smarter or luckier than you. They just have clear numbers to make decisions from.
Now is exactly the right time to get your books sorted before another quarter gets away from you.

β¨ DAY 13 β¨

Write this down somewhere:
π Revenue is vanity.
β It looks impressive. It doesn't tell you if you're actually winning.
β
Profit is sanity.
β What's left after the bills are paid. The real scorecard.
π΅ Cash is reality.
β The money actually in your account right now. What you can use today.
A business can have high revenue, decent profit, and still fail, because the cash isn't there when it's needed.
This is why bookkeeping isn't just about recording the past. It's about understanding your financial present so you can plan your future.
Save this, screenshot it, send it to a business owner friend who needs it π
Which of these three do you understand the least about your own business? π
π© DM me "NUMBERS" if you want someone to help you understand all three - specifically for your business.
β¨ DAY 12 β¨
Another late-night video update ππ₯
Today wrapped up the final day of the QuickBooks Get Connected Calgary event, including an incredibly meaningful session with Teresa Slack on βFrom Crisis to Comeback.β β€οΈ
Sharing real stories, struggles, growth, and resilience reminded me that no business and no person is perfect. Growth comes from the challenges we overcome.
Now itβs finally time to head home for a little while π‘πΎ
Goodnight everyoneβ¦ see you tomorrow π«
