Saskatchewan Home Renovation Tax Credit

The Home Renovation Tax Credit has been extended for 2025 and 2026. This non-refundable tax credit can be claimed on eligible renovation expenses for your principal residence incurred on or after October 1, 2024.

Credit Amount: 10.5% annual tax credit on eligible expenses between $1,000 to $5,000 ($420 maximum credit).

Seniors 65 and over: Additional credit for expenses between $5,000 to $6,000 ($105 maximum additional credit).

Claim Period: Eligible expenses can be claimed on your 2025 and subsequent Saskatchewan income tax returns.
