Do you know the difference between Term and Permanent insurance?
Term is great for something with an end date (ie., mortgage), but less ideal for something long term that you would like to continue renewing.
With Permanent insurance - your rate never changes, you get tax free growth, tax free access, and any remaining funds can be passed to your beneficiary.

Question:
Have you ever heard of the Rule of 72 at any point?
Cuz I certainly didn't.
Simply, take the percent of any interest, and divide it by 72.
This will give you the length of time it would take to double.
Handy, right?
So now take a look at the products you have, and see if you have 2 or 3% interest.
Are you happy with it taking 36ish YEARS for your RRSP / investment to double in savings?
Or would you prefer it doubling every 5-9 years?

Did you know that all meetings happen over Zoom... so you never have to leave the comfort nor privacy of your own space.
And I am totally ok with you showing up in your PJ's...
Because some days are like that.
So let's chat.

Do you have a funeral plan?
Or you going to rely on a GoFundMe begging for friends and strangers to help your family pay for your final expenses or any sudden care life affirming care you might need?
If you are going the GoFundMe route... I hope you are contributing to every one that crosses your timeline in hopes that others will return the karma.
FYI: That would probably cost you more than having your own insurance would... and would be way less stressful for everyone.

You have insurance on your car.
You have insurance on your home.
You have insurance on your phone
You have travel insurance.
You might even have balance protectors on your credit card...
WHY DON'T YOU HAVE INSURANCE ON YOURSELF?

The cost of having insurance sometimes prevents people from having insurance.
But by paying for insurance, you are ensuring your future financial needs are met.
You are ensuring you can afford any extra care you might need.
*long term care costs $1,000s a month*
You are ensuring your funeral is paid for.
*funerals can cost anywhere between $5,000 - $20,000+*
You are ensuring your family doesn't drown in any debts.
*any debt you have when you pass goes to your spouse, oldest sibling, or child, not to mention the cost of living*

Did you know that if you have a Term 10 or 20... it is usually set to auto-renew.
Sounds great... BUT
The rates will renew based on your current age... not the age you signed up for the Term.
Which means it can double.... then triple... in cost.
Which is also when a lot of people cancel their insurance.
Make sure your insurance covers you (and thereby your family) FOR LIFE.
Various options are available.
