Had the chance to contribute to a article speaking to the latest covid relief programs available to employees and small businesses affected by the recent government mandates, from a financial planning perspective.
How advisors can help clients figure out government programs amid new lockdowns
Criteria and eligibility for many programs are clearer now than for those at the beginning of the pandemic because policymakers and the public have become more accustomed to lockdown life

As an entrepreneur, you know what you do best. But when it comes to finance, you don't know what you don't know.
Whether or not incorporation makes sense is a common ask, but people are surprised to know how much a life of its own that it develops, as a result of the laws surrounding them.

Stef and I were out to dinner last week, where pretty much an entire section of the restaurant overheard two people, seemingly friends, talking about their finances.
They were both convicted in their logic, citing the same reference that every financial professional does when they're faced with questions they don't know: Reddit.

When you hear the word "trust" in finance, what do you think of? How the rich avoid taxes?
Fun fact, a trust is most often used when there is a lack of trust between two or more people. The tax advantages of trusts have become increasingly less so in recent years.
I bet your neighbour didn't know that one.

Want to know my secret? Money is a conduit.
It's a vessel housing questions which apply to three segments of life: learn, laugh and leave.
Learn: how will you evolve as a person?
Laugh: how will you pursue happiness?
Leave: how will you impact others?
The more focused your "how's" become, the more you'll begin to experience a reality you couldn't imagine any differently.
