In 1945, a small group of Prairie farmers faced a challenge only they truly understood. When traditional insurers wouldn’t meet their needs, they banded together. What started as a way to protect their own financial futures grew into something greater: a co-operative for their neighbours, their communities and their country.

Eight decades later, the company they founded – Co-operators – has become one of Canada’s largest homegrown financial service providers. Though times have changed, we haven’t forgotten our roots.
