BAS DUE DATE REMINDER

If you’re registered for GST and lodge your BAS quarterly, your June 2026 BAS is due 28 August 2026.

Yep… it’s sneaking up on us!

Before you hit lodge, make sure your:
✔️ Sales are reconciled
✔️ Expenses are coded correctly
✔️ GST has been checked
✔️ Payroll and super are up to date
✔️ Bank accounts are reconciled

And if you’re sitting there thinking “I really should get onto that…” this is your sign 😂

Are You Payday Super Ready?

Quick question for all business owners... are you Payday Super ready?

Payday Super is coming and it's one of the biggest changes to payroll in years.

From 1st July 2026, just 8 days away, super will need to be paid every payday instead of quarterly.

Sounds simple, but the impact on your cash flow and payroll processes is REAL.

Now is the time to ask yourself:
- Is my payroll process running smoothly?
- Am I prepared for more frequent super payments?
- Will this impact my business cash flow?
- Is my payroll software ready?
- Do I have the right systems in place before 1st July?

With the changes starting next week, businesses that haven't started preparing could find themselves scrambling to adjust.
Taking a few minutes now to review your payroll processes could save a lot of stress later.

It's also about taking a moment to look at how far you've come.
The late nights. The invoices you've chased. The clients you've gained. The challenges you've worked through. The goals you've ticked off (and the ones still on the list).

As business owners, we're often so focused on what's next that we forget to stop and recognise what we've achieved.

So before 30th June rolls around, take five minutes to celebrate the wins, big or small.
Then make sure your bookkeeping is up to date so you can head into the new financial year knowing exactly where your business stands.

And if your books are currently giving you anxiety, you're definitely not alone. 😉

It’s been a little quiet over here lately but behind the scenes life has been full on.

Between swimming lessons, calisthenics, school drop offs and mum life with two little humans, the start of the year has been busy. We also hit a big milestone in our family with my eldest starting Foundation, which has been such a special (and slightly emotional) moment.

Even though social media has been quiet, I’ve been busy behind the scenes supporting my existing clients and welcoming a few new ones already this year, which I’m so grateful for.
