🏡 CLIENT SUCCESS STORY | MOLLY & CALEB

We’ve been lucky enough to help Molly & Caleb for a number of years, and it’s been great to now help them with one of their biggest lifestyle changes yet!

They’ve recently secured a beautiful farm-style property, with some pretty exciting plans for what comes next. 🌳🏡

The plan is to renovate the existing barn, while turning their current home into an investment property and continuing to hold their commercial property.

With a few moving pieces, this purchase was about much more than simply finding a home loan.

Rates are moving again 📈🏡

Following the 0.25% p.a. increase to variable home loan rates, lenders are applying the change on different dates throughout October.

📅 8 October — Teachers Mutual Bank group
📅 9 October — CBA, Westpac, NAB, ANZ, ING, Bankwest & Bank of Melbourne
📅 15 October — Macquarie Bank

💡 Important: your interest rate may change before your actual minimum repayment does. Depending on your lender’s billing cycle and notice period, the repayment increase may not show until later in October or November.

If your rate is increasing, now is a good time to review whether your current loan is still competitive.
