→ Apply to the AAT - if you're not satisfied with the internal review outcome
→ Seek independent advocacy - an advocate can support you through the process

What can assistive technology funding cover under the NDIS? 🤔

Assistive technology (AT) sits under your Capital Supports budget and can cover a wide range of items that help you live more independently.

This can include…
→ Wheelchairs and mobility aids
→ Communication devices
→ Home or vehicle modifications
→ Vision and hearing aids

The level of evidence and approval required depends on the cost of the item - lower-cost AT is generally easier to access than higher-cost items.
