-for tax time
A little tax-time kindness to your future self. ☕
You don't have to spend your weekend doing your bookkeeping.
Just spend 15 minutes checking one thing.
Because “I'll do it later” has a funny way of becoming:
“WHY DID I LEAVE THIS UNTIL OCTOBER?!” 😂
Get a little ahead now and give yourself some breathing room.
Your future self deserves that. 💛

Monday - Receipt time!
A gentle reminder about those receipts… 🧾
If they're sitting in your email…
in a drawer…
in the car…
or hiding somewhere on your phone…
Now is a good time to gather them up.
Tax time is much easier when your expenses aren't playing hide and seek. 😉
One little tidy-up today can save a lot of scrambling later. 🌿

One thing I wish more business owners knew.
I've seen business owners give themselves a really hard time over not knowing everything.
I wish they knew - you don't need to understand every accounting term to understand your business.
You don't need to love spreadsheets.
You don't need to know what every number means.
You just need someone who can explain it in plain English.
Because your numbers should help you feel more confident in your business — not more confused.
That's what bookkeeping with heart means to me. 💙

🌸 Hello September. Hello Spring. 🌸
A new month and the beginning of a new season — a perfect reminder that fresh starts don’t have to be dramatic.
Sometimes it’s simply clearing a little space, letting go of what isn’t working, and making room for what matters.
🌱 New season.
✨ Fresh energy.
💛 Small steps forward.
So this Monday, don’t worry about doing everything.
Just start where you are, take a breath, and make September a little lighter than August.
Happy Spring & happy September! 🌸

Mondays mantra -you are allowed to run your business differently in different seasons of life.
Some weeks you're smashing goals.
Some weeks you're just keeping everything moving.
And some weeks perimenopause has other plans. 😂
Your business doesn't have to grow at maximum speed every single week to be successful.
Sometimes steady is enough.
Sometimes done is enough.
Sometimes rest is productive too 💙.

Apparently, urgent and important are two completely different things.
Tell that to my nervous system. 😂

A gentle reminder that slowing down isn't falling behind.
Sometimes the most important things don't need to happen quickly. Take a breath, pause, and make space for what really matters.

Less hurry and hustle
There’s a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from always being in a hurry.
Hurry to get the kids out the door.
Hurry to work.
Hurry to answer the email.
Hurry to finish the job.
Hurry to get dinner on the table.
Hurry to catch up on the things you didn’t get done yesterday.
Hurry, Hurry, Hurry.
And somewhere in between business and personal life, we can start living in a constant state of hustle.
Even when nothing is actually urgent.
Sometimes the most productive thing you can do for your business — and for yourself — is slow down enough to breathe.
You don't have to answer every message immediately.
You don't have to squeeze another task into the day.
You don't have to turn every spare minute into productivity.
Your business needs you.
But so does your life. 🤍
Maybe today, instead of asking “What else can I get done?”
Ask yourself:
“What can I stop rushing through?”
Because success isn't meant to be something we’re constantly running towards.
Sometimes, it’s found in the moments when we finally stop. 🌿
(And I know how hard this is, I am living it too!).
