Single parent? Your private health insurance rebate might not treat you as "single".
If you have a dependent child, you could be assessed as a family for the private health insurance rebate, even if you're not married or in a relationship.
💡 Tax tip: Some health funds let children stay on a family policy until age 30. But for the rebate, a dependent child is generally someone who is:
• under 21, or
• under 25 and studying full time.
