“I can’t afford a house” and “I can’t afford the house I pictured” are two completely different sentences.
One is a maths problem.
The other is a strategy problem.
I’ve seen first home buyers walk away from the whole goal of home ownership, when the only thing that needed to change was the plan.
Whether that means changing the suburb, the property type, the strategic pathway in...
A different place is not the same as no place at all.
So before you shelve the idea of buying your first property for another two years, get a second opinion on your strategy, because there is usually more room in it than you think.
Don’t abandon the goal. Change the plan.

14 years ago today we said “I do”
No pre-wedding jitters or second thoughts. As Brento says, “you know when you know” 💖
I knew from our first date that you were ‘the one’. I knew our wedding day would be drenched in love and connection. And I knew that on that day, and all the ones that would follow, we’d celebrate and cherish our profound partnership wrapped up in a love story 💕
14 years ago I was excited about our wedding day, but now I’m even more excited by our marriage. I love what we’ve created so far, and can’t wait for everything that’s still to come.
14 years down and forever to go… or at least until I’m 80-years-old and you’re 89 (minimum!) - because you promised me we’d go out just like how Noah and Ali did from The Notebook, and I’m holding you to it! 😘

A little reminder before you head to open homes today 👇🏽
Buying your first home will never be completely risk-free.
You can research. Prepare. Ask great questions. Run the numbers. Do your due diligence... And still, something can not go exactly to plan.
So, the goal isn’t certainty.
It’s becoming so prepared, informed and confident in your decisions that when a curveball comes your way, you trust yourself to handle it 🧡
