CARD AgroCredit is pleased to announce the successful completion of a strategic debt financing agreement with Agents for Impact, a Germany-based impact investing company committed to supporting responsible and high-impact financial institutions around the world. The transaction, amounting to USD 2 million, was facilitated with the support of SmartJump, CARD AgroCredit’s long-standing partner in mobilizing international funding.
This new financing will enable CARD AgroCredit to further expand its agricultural lending portfolio for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises across Armenia. By increasing access to affordable and tailored financial products, the company will continue to strengthen rural livelihoods, promote sustainable agricultural development, and contribute to broader financial inclusion in the country.

ACORA Equips Armenian Financial Leaders with Tools to Navigate Climate Risks and Sustainability
The Association of Credit Organizations of Armenia, in a strategic collaboration with its partners Agents for Impact GmbH (Germany) and SmartJump (Armenia) successfully co-hosted a vital workshop entitled "Sustainability and Climate Risks: How They Impact Firms." The event brought together 14 CEOs, decision-makers, and ESG specialists from Armenia's leading credit organizations to address one of the most pressing challenges facing the global financial industry today.
The workshop was expertly led by Andrii Tiurenkov, SCR, Director of Debt Investments at Agents for Impact GmbH, a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the financial sector. Mr. Tiurenkov guided participants through the complex landscape of sustainability, providing a deep dive into how climate change translates into tangible financial risks for businesses.

👉Environmental, Social, and Governance principles and their growing importance for investors and regulators
👉The Triple Bottom Line framework as a strategic tool for long-term value creation
👉A clear distinction between Physical Risks and Transition Risks with the move to a low-carbon economy
