The UAE has extended Small Business Relief for eligible businesses to tax periods ending on or before 31 December 2029.

The AED 3 million revenue threshold continues to apply.

AED 3 million is not a blanket “no corporate tax” rule for every company below that number.

Under the UAE Corporate Tax framework, the 0% rate applies to a Qualifying Free Zone Person on Qualifying Income—subject to meeting the required conditions.

Income that does not qualify may be subject to the standard 9% Corporate Tax rate. Free Zone businesses must also consider registration, tax-return, accounting and record-keeping obligations.
