🌟 LEAP Begins: Turning Professional Aspirations into Meaningful Progress

A strong professional community is built not only through shared expertise, but also through meaningful guidance, purposeful conversations, and a commitment to growth.

On 5 September 2026, PICPA Dubai held the Leadership, Excellence & Advancement Program (LEAP) Kickoff, including the Mentors-Mentees Networking Session.

The LEAP is a FREE and exclusive 8-month mentorship program for 30 professionals, a flagship initiative of PICPA Dubai using the LEAP Approach (Learn, Elevate, Aspire and Progress).

The kickoff session introduced the program’s vision, purpose, and expected outcomes, while presenting the mentorship framework, mentor-mentee matching, and program mechanics.

PICPA Dubai Founder and Chairman Mr. Lyndon Magsino, one of the program’s mentors, shared what mentors can offer to mentees and established the expectations needed to make the mentorship experience purposeful and productive.

Mentees then enthusiastically introduced themselves, sharing their career stages, aspirations, and what they hope to gain from the program. The session continued with the formation of mentor-mentee groups, where participants discussed their career goals, development needs, and key areas they want to focus on.

Closing the session, PICPA Dubai President and one of the mentors, Ms. Maria Jaqueline Gonzales, thanked the participants for taking a LEAP and expressed her excitement for the next steps, encouraging everyone to turn the momentum from the kick-off into meaningful results.

As LEAP moves forward, may every conversation become an opportunity to learn, every connection a source of encouragement, and every goal a step toward professional advancement.

🔵 UAE E-INVOICING UPDATE | From Awareness to Readiness

The UAE's E-Invoicing implementation is moving closer.

For businesses with annual revenues exceeding AED 50 million, the appointment deadline for an Accredited Service Provider is 30 October 2026, ahead of the mandatory implementation date of 1 January 2027 for this group.

E-Invoicing should not be treated as an IT project alone. It requires coordination between Finance, Accounting, Tax, Operations and Technology to ensure processes and data are ready for the transition.

For finance professionals, the question is no longer “Is E-Invoicing coming?” but “Are we ready for it?”
