Visa Approval Is a Choice, Not Your Right
Today, Marco Rubio clearly stated an important point: Nowhere in U.S. law does it say that America is obligated to give you a visit visa, student visa, or any type of visa. It is entirely their decision whether to issue a visa or not. And even after issuing a visa, they have the authority to cancel it whenever they choose.
In simple words, when any country grants you a visa, it is similar to someone allowing you to enter their home. Just like you have the right to decide who can enter your house, a country has the right to decide who can enter its borders. It is their choice.
No matter how strong your profile is whether you have plenty of money, a strong travel history, or excellent documentation if a country does not want to grant you a visa, that is their decision.
Some people become emotional and say, “I had so much money,” or “I had a great travel history, why was I refused?” Hopefully, after hearing this message, it will be easier to understand that no country especially the United States is obligated to issue you a visa. It is always a privilege, not a right.
